FUJIFILM has released several minor firmware updates for seven of its XC/XF lenses. These lenses include the popular FUJIFILM XF10-24mm F/4 R OIS, XC16-50mm F/3.5-5.6 OIS II, and XF80mm F/2.8 R LM OIS WR Macro, for example. Let’s take a closer look at it!

FUJIFILM Firmware Updates for XC/XF Lenses


FUJIFILM is continuously improving their products by releasing firmware updates, and they just released seven firmware updates for XC/XF lenses. These firmware are pretty “minor,” and FUJIFILM is staying vague by just saying that these FW updates contain “fixes of minor bugs.”

Here is the entire list of the lenses that can be upgraded now:

• XC15–45mm F/3.5–5.6 OIS PZ — Download firmware version 1.03.
• XC16–50mm F/3.5–5.6 OIS II — Download firmware version 1.12.
• XC50–230mm F/4.5–6.7 OIS II — Download firmware version 1.11.
• XF10–24mm F/4 R OIS — Download firmware version 1.13.
• XF18–55mm F/2.8–4 R LM OIS — Download firmware version 3.23.
• XF18–135mm F/3.5–5.6 R LM OIS WR — Download firmware version 1.12.
• XF80mm F/2.8 R LM OIS WR Macro — Download firmware version 1.12.

All these FUJIFILM updates are available now, for free. While this might not be a significant update, it is always good to keep your camera equipment up to date with the latest firmware update available from the manufacturer.
